I am becoming increasingly obsessed with melody., so I decided to find some high quality scans of her album and single covers. My standard of high quality are scans that have dimensions at least 500x500 pixels (however, some come pretty close).

What is J-MELO?

NHK Online describes J-MELO as:

J-MELO is NHK´s first ever Japanese music show recorded entirely in English for audiences around the world.

J-MELO features the latest, cutting edge developments in Japanese music, selections of hit songs, and diverse material from a wide-range of different genres including pop, rock, jazz and classical.

The program´s name, J-MELO, is a combination of "J" for Japan and "MELO", an abbreviation of both "melody" and "mellow".

I will be putting up direct download links for J-MELO when they come up on JPOPSUKI each week. nakoruru from JPOPSUKI is nice enough to upload these videos every week, but too bad the seeds disappear so fast :(

I hope you'll enjoy J-MELO as much as I do!

J-MELO: February 23, 2008 featuring ZEEBRA and POLYSICS

melody. interviews ZEEBRA and POLYSICS. I never heard of POLYSICS before, but I will definitely check them out now. They have nice music videos and "cute" sounding songs.

Music videos:
ZEEBRA - "Street Dreams"

ZEEBRA - "Do What U Gotta Do" feat. AI, Namie Amuro, and Mummy-D
I had already seen this music video before because I am obsessed with Namie Amuro music videos :)

ZEEBRA - "Not You Boyfriend" feat. JESSE (RIZE)

ZEEBRA - "Bushido"
Bushido actually doesn't sound too bad for Japanese rap, I might try to find this song

POLYSICS - "DOMO ARIGATO" Mr. Roboto
The music video looks amazingly humerous and the song itself is interesting

POLYSICS - "I My Me Mine"

POLYSICS - "Baby BIAS"

POLYSICS - "Rocket"

J-MELO: Monkey Majik

I was so happy when I found the J-MELO episode featuring Monkey Majik. This episode ran on August 4, 2007 and features the stunningly hot melody. interviewing my favourite band Monkey Majik. I was recently introduced to J-MELO from one of my friends who likes melody. I wish I had known about this show sooner.
